Civil Litigation

    Mr. Jayaraman has proven expertise in handling civil matters involving divorce, breach of contract, forfeiture of assets, writs of habeas corpus and legal and medical malpractice. He has also represented clients in international divorce and custody matters and successfully represented clients in international extradition matters.

    In the legal malpractice area he tried and obtained a jury verdict against a leading American trial lawyer Willie Gary of Stuart, Florida in an intensely litigated legal malpractice case in Shelby County, Tennessee in which Mr. Jayaraman obtained a large jury verdict for his client after a grueling trial.

    More than a dozen of his above stated cases have been recommended for full text publication by the U.S Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
